square one / /

Starting fresh is like moving into a new room with perfectly painted white walls. Most don't know where to begin in such a perfect white room and are afraid of ruining the perfection it possesses. Being afraid of ruining the room is a complete waste of energy because life simply happens. People drill holes in the wrong spot and hang pictures crooked, but those mistakes teach them that maybe next time they should use a leveler or maybe they should take the time to find the stud in the wall. Just remind yourself that worrying about keeping the room perfect is a waste of time because the room staying that perfect isn't going to happen; plans change and people spill coffee, but that's the beauty in it. Walls with holes and paint chips remind us that life happens and that a journey that has been traveled, a journey that wasn't perfect, but most definitely a journey that has created laughter and growth.
